Privacy policy

Parma Publishing ("we") runs parmapublishing.media. This page explains what personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions: hello@parmapublishing.media.

Email signups

When you sign up for a free printable or the newsletter, we collect your email address and which form you used (for example, the State Names quiz), plus whether you ticked the box to hear about new books first. We use this to send you the printable, a short welcome series, and news about new books in the series you're interested in. You can unsubscribe in one click from any email.

Signups are processed by Kit (kit.com), our email service provider, which stores the list and sends the emails. Our legal basis is your consent, which you give by submitting the form and can withdraw at any time.

Analytics and cookies

With your consent we use:

• Google Analytics 4 to count visits, see which pages and links readers use, and measure clicks on Buy buttons and signups.
• LogRocket to record anonymised sessions (clicks, scrolling and page views) so we can find confusing pages. Email fields are masked and never recorded.

Both set cookies. They stay off until you press Accept on the cookie banner, and you can change your mind at any time with "Cookie settings" in the footer. If you decline, Google Analytics runs in a cookieless mode that does not identify you, and LogRocket is not loaded at all.

Amazon links

Every Buy button takes you to Amazon, where Amazon's own privacy policy applies. We are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, which means we earn a small commission on qualifying purchases made through our links, at no extra cost to you. We do not receive your name or purchase details.

Who we share data with

Kit (email), Google (analytics), LogRocket (session recordings) and our hosting provider, Netlify. These providers process data on our behalf. We do not sell your data.

Your rights

If you are in the EU or UK you can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it. Email us at hello@parmapublishing.media and we will respond within a month. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

How long we keep data

Email addresses stay on the list until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months.

Children

Our books are for children, but this website is for parents, teachers and adult readers. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has given us their email address, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
